Different gear hubs explained

BERG go kart Hubs

The BFR hub means that the go-kart can be driven forwards, backwards and be stopped all by the using just the pedals

The BFR-3 hub is the same as the BFR version go-kart but with the addition of 3 gears making it easier to use and to gain a higher speed when pedalling

DINO go kart Hubs

The F hub (forward) has been designed primarily for use in the commercial market as a "strong and very reliable" Forward only drive

The AF hub (automatic freewheel) allows driving forward and backwards without manual switching

The BF1 hub (freewheel brake), with back brake and reverse gear, allows driving forward and backwards without further changes. The integrated back-pedalling brake ensures especially safe and comfortable stopping

The BF3 hub (free-wheel brake with a three-gear switch) allows driving forwards and backwards without further changing of gears. Here, the integrated back-pedalling brake ensures especially safe and comfortable stopping. The three gears allow correct gear transmission - also off-road
